Let's Dance

Dance is one of the most effective forms of exercise for both body and mind offering so many benefits it is hard to know where to begin when it comes to listing them. Dance fitness classes help us to burn calories like crazy, while we shape, tone and sculpt the body. Unlike running and other types of exercise, dance can actually strengthen our joints. In fact, dancing strengthens our whole body and can even improve bone density. Dance fitness is known to help to reduce blood pressure and improve circulation. Providing the benefits of both an aerobic and anaerobic workout. Learning new routines is challenging, it keeps working out interesting, while providing exercise for the mind, such that multiple clinical trials have recommended dance as an effective preventative for certain degenerative disorders. The music in class is highly significant as it lifts our spirits and keeps us engaged and motivated. Most importantly, dance is fun which means you can enjoy yourself while enhancing your general health and working to improve or maintain the figure you work for.

After a lifetime dancing professionally and many years working with the Zumba Fitness program I am proud to say that in 2017, I became the creator of my own dance fitness program.

Comprised of fun, fast and sassy dance routines, influenced by global rhythms and delivered with a jazz dance inspired style and energy that blends carefully constructed dance choreography with toning exercises. My own dance fitness classes combine cardio and interval training techniques to offer a full body workout. Simply called, Let's Dance© my classes/workshops are open to men and women of all ages, shapes, sizes and fitness levels. I have been blessed to teach dance all over the world would like to thank all those people who have chosen to join my classes through out the years and all those who may choose to join me in the future. I dance to feel alive and I am alive because I dance. I think those who dance with me glimpse a little of that at least and if that inspires others to enhance their lives with the many benefits of dance then that is worth all the blood, sweat and booty shaking !!!
